Sourcing Information: Santa Bárbara Estate is located in the Cauca River valley at an altitude between 1400 and 2000 meters in Santa Bárbara, Colombia and is owned and operated by Pedro Echavarría.
Santa Bárbara Estate is a family-owned company whose roots date back more than a century. Three decades ago, Don Pedro began a quest to combine his coffee-growing heritage with modern agricultural methods in order to grow the highest quality coffee possible. Once harvested, they quickly process the coffee at the on-site wet mill. This is important because once the coffee cherries have been picked, time is of the essence to prevent the delicate fruits from spoilage. Another advantage of owning a mill is that the processing can be precisely controlled to better bring out the inherent sweetness of the coffee.
Don Pedro and his family view themselves as not just landowners, but stewards and caretakers of the land. To maintain and protect the environment, they have systems in place for water and solid residue management and the preservation of wildlife habitat.

I received 2 pounds of Jeff's Colombia - Santa Barbara Estate this week. I love that this was roasted the day before it shipped. I use this for cold brew mainly. It is so smooth, but bold enough to stand up to the creamer and ice that I add. I will definitely be ordering more!! Thanks so much Jeff and Anna!!

Perfect on it's own, or try a small bit of dark chocolate on the side for a heavenly treat.
